Family Portraits | Atlanta Wedding Photographer | Piedmont Park

I have had the pleasure to photograph this cool family a few times.  There are always a lot of laughs, and we get our work out chasing after the little ones.  :)

I met up with this family at Piedmont Park.  Anyone from the Atlanta area is familiar with Piedmont Park, and it’s always provides a wealth of locations.  We met up near the Legacy Fountains, a new part of the park.  Over the years I have photographed countless portrait sessions, and many a wedding in the park.  This was my first time seeing the fountains however.  Really cool spot situated over a natural preserve of sorts, and right next to The Botanical Gardens.

How cute are these two?  Love having them in front of my lens!  Looking forward to the next session……….  Don’t forget to find Photo By Gannon on Facebook so you can stay on top of a couple of great winter specials.  Thanks All!

Family Portraits | Flowery Branch, Georgia | Decatur Wedding Photographer

This family is beyond cute!  I drove up to Flowery Branch from Decatur to meet up with this sweet family, and photograph them for the holiday season.  These adorable little children were so lovely to be around; incredibly well behaved and genuinely at ease in front of my lens.  Their beautiful mother and I went to high school together, but we had not seen each other since the 90′s.  It is always a special treat to work with someone that I knew growing up.  :)

Photo By Gannon wishes you and yours a happy, brilliant, lovely holiday season.  I hope to have YOU in front of my lens sometime soon!

Atlanta Portrait Photographer | Rock n Roll Portraits | Holiday Family Portraits

This recent family portrait session was a fun one to play with.  We only had an hour to create a ‘rock n roll’ feeling, and I think we hit it in a vibrant way.  When I am planning a portrait session with a client I always ask what kind of look they want this year?  Are they itching to take advantage of an autumnal vista?  Do they want a chic city feel?  A funky industrial look?  After I pick a client’s brain a little, I make suggestions and do some scouting.

This was a fun one for me.  And yes, that’s Pearl Jam.  :)

I want to bring your vision to life.  Let’s do it!  Hope to hear from you soon guys, and don’t forget to look for me on Facebook!

Atlanta Fall Wedding | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

This awesome couple got married this fall at the Atlanta Marriott Gateway.  This gorgeous bride designed her day with personal touches including autumnal colors, and some unique nods to her Jamaican heritage.  She was glowing all day long next to her handsome new husband.  These two were so much fun to work with.

I am so happy to have been a small part of this adorable couple’s big day.  I wish them all the best in the world.

For this holiday portrait session I met my sweet subjects at an intown green space to take advantage of the beautiful fall color.  We enjoyed taking a little walk together grabbing some little moments along the way.  :)

I had the best time with this cool young couple and their beautiful little gal.  In need of family portraits?  Starting to plan your wedding?  I would love to hear from you any time!  Don’t forget to find me on Facebook:)

Roswell Engagement Portrait Session | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

Photographing a newly bethrothed couple is one of my FAVORITE things to do.  I absolutely love getting to spend some quality time with my couples before their BIG DAY.  It lets me get to know them.  It is also a great way for them to get to know me, and all of my big cameras.  I work really hard to fall into my couples and put them at ease.  I want to get them to laugh, and be themselves.  I had a blast with this young couple.  They were so comfortable in front of my lens, and we had plenty of laughs.

I met this cute couple at Morgan Falls in Sandy Springs, Georgia.  My bride-to-be suggested this location, and it was perfect for us.  A cool playscape, a mist covered lake, and sun-soaked trail were a few of the fabulous things that Morgan Falls had to offer us.

After we wrapped up at Morgan Falls Park we headed over to downtown Roswell.  I have done many a shoot in Roswell, and it’s really a fantastic location.  I love the old brick facades, and narrow streets stacked with cafes.  It photographs beautifully.  We did a couple of wardrobe changes, including my couple donning shirts of their alma maters.

Here’s to L-O-V-E and this awesome couple!  I cannot wait to be a part of their special day this spring!

Family Portrait Session | Holiday Portraits | Northeast Georgia Photographer

During the busy fall portrait season I was so happy to have this adorable little family in front of my lens.  This beautiful new mother is a dear friend from high school.  :)   We met up on a gorgeous fall afternoon in Clarkesville, Georgia.  We made good use of the awesome light, and pretty fall color.

I love these portraits, and this sweet family.  :)   Do you need some great portrait work?  Contact me, and we’ll talk about your personalized session.  This Atlanta photographer loves to travel so if you live outside of the city, we can make it happen!  I hope to hear from you soon!

Lake Rabun Wedding | Atlanta Wedding Photographer | Fall Wedding in Northeast Georgia

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to work with this sweet couple for their big day.  I met up with the bride and the ladies at The Barn Inn.  The bed and breakfast is adorable, and the caretakers are fantastic!  If you are staying in the Lakemont area, check them out for sure.  I hung out with the ladies as they had some lunch, some laughs, and got wedding-ready.  I REALLY like the photojournalistic coverage that I get early in the day, and it is a great way to integrate myself into the group so that the bride is completely used to a blitz of photos by the time the ceremony is upon us.  I like the inside look I get during this more intimate time.

After everyone was dressed we all headed to a private home on Lake Rabun for the ceremony and reception.  Fall details and decor were everywhere.  Autumn is probably my favorite time of year.  The light is perfection.  The colors are gorgeous.  And there is that certain something about the air.  Being up in northeast Georgia for this wedding all of these things were most apparent.

Cheers to this fabulous couple and their laid back and chic event!  Photo By Gannon would like to tell the story of YOUR big day too.  Contact me today!

Family Portraits | Roswell, Georgia | Atlanta Portrait Photographers

For this recent family portrait session I ventured to the lovely Roswell area.  This family had a great big yard, so we worked right at their home.  I photograph families in their homes all the time.  I always want my subjects to feel at ease, and a shoot at home is always great for that.  :)

When I photograph a family with children I truly let them be themselves.  These kinds of sessions are meant to be organic.  I sit back(and sometimes run around a bit) to watch carefully, and capture the little moments that happen along the way.  There is gentle direction of course, but I am careful not to over direct.  I want to photograph YOU, not some version of the real thing.

Are you due for a portrait session?  Photo By Gannon does it all:  Family Portraits, Portraits of Children, Engagement Sessions, Boudoir Sessions……….you name it!  I hope to see you in front of my lens soon!  :)

Flowery Branch Portrait Session | Atlanta Wedding Photographer | Holiday Portrait Sessions

I met up with this adorable family in historic Flowery Branch.  The shortest member of this precious family particularly loved being near the old train depot in the square, and we had fun trying to keep up with him.  How cute is that little smile?!

Photo By Gannon wants you in front of my lens soon!  :)
