Destination Wedding in The Mountains | Kellum Valley Farm

I love nothing more than photographing a destination wedding. I am lucky to have clients all over the states, and get to jump on a plane to photograph a wedding on a fairly regular basis. Whether it’s Newport, Key West, Puerto Rico or St. John….if you are planning a destination wedding, I’m your gal! This destination wedding was actually already in my back yard so I was just about the only person there that DIDN’T have to get on a plane. This couple from Florida wanted a peaceful, mountain site for their wedding. The gorgeous Kellum Valley Farm was a perfect fit. Kellum Valley Farm happens to be one of my favorite venues of all time. It’s unique, and just particularly lovely. The mountains of northeast Georgia have no shortage of wedding venues, but Kellum Valley Farm always feels extra special to me. Have a look, and you’ll see exactly what I mean….
It should be pretty obvious why Kellum Valley Farm is one of my fave wedding venues in the United States. A farm house, rustic barns, stone ruins, and all with a long mountain vista. Hard to beat!
Anyone that knows me would know that I AM A NUT FOR ANIMALS! I never met one that I didn’t love. This sweet rescue girl in her pink tutu was a scene stealer. What a good girl. 🙂
The Ruins at Kellum Valley Farm has several splendid locations for the ceremony. This pretty spot on the lawn is superb for a spring wedding, when the tree is all dressed in purple blooms. Lovely, lovely.
This sort of beauty is precisely why you plan a mountain wedding in Georgia.
There are countless barns in the state of Georgia. The one that sits in the middle of the property at The Ruins of Kellum Valley Farm has to be one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. It’s tall and elegant, with clean lines, white paint, and a tin roof.
A beautiful Italian-American bride, and her special guys.
The inside of that pretty white barn? Just as lovely. It makes the perfect spot for the cake, or a table of favors for your guests.
The ruins on the property all lit up for the reception, with happy guests dancing under the stars…..It’s a dreamy spot for sure!
All You Need is LOVE…and a fabulous wedding photographer of course! 🙂
