High Museum of Art Photographer | Atlanta Event Photographer
Working with the lovely folks at The High Museum of Art is always terrific. Inevitably I see quite a few people I know every time I photograph an event at The High, and that’s always a treat too. This event was one of The High Museum’s largest events of the year. It was High Art’s Day. HAD is a day full of home tours, exhibits, and some shopping with a glass of champagne. Not a bad way to spend the day. I’ll be photographing High Art’s Day again this year, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we’re in store for this year. This is how last year’s day unfolded…
As an Atlanta event photographer you never know where you’ll end up. For this event we started at the shopping mecca that is Neiman Marcus. They were closed to the public, and we had the run of it.
After being treated to an exclusive moment at Neiman Marcus everyone jumped back on a fleet of buses, and it was off to tour a few splendid Atlanta homes that have particularly thrilling collections.
After photographing the home tours we headed to The High Museum of Art for the main events of the day. Private touring of the newest exhibit, and more SHOPPING!
The day finished up with a delightful lunch in the museum. A lovely day was HAD by all!
These fun little blue gadgets helped lead a silent auction for art pieces by emerging Atlanta artists.
Models strolled through the rooms showcasing top fashion houses. Chanel, Fendi, and Louis, OH MY!
I’m looking forward to photographing High Arts Day again in a few months, and a few fabulous High events between now and then.
