For this engagement portrait session I met this AWESOME couple in one of Atlanta’s most photographed spots, the always photogenic Piedmont Park. It was a gorgeous day, and we made the most of it. I include a custom engagement portrait session in my wedding photography packages on the house. Why? I really want to get to know my couples. On the big day I want them to think of me as a friend. A friend that just happens to have 600 weddings under her belt, and is capable of running around without stopping for 14 hours. 😉 I find that an engagement portrait session is the perfect time for me to get to know my lovebirds and vice versa. It’s laid back, and I tailor it around the personalities of my couple. When I am planning an engagement portrait session I ask my couples a few key questions to find out what sort of locations we should use. For this engagement portrait session we started in Piedmont Park so that their little four legged cutie could join in the fun. Then we headed to the Virginia-Highlands, one of Atlanta’s favorite neighborhoods. It was a perfect day, and I think we nailed it.
I’m always happy to meet a pet on a portrait session. I’m a massive animal lover, and really understand that pets ARE part of our families. At least that’s how it is in my house. 🙂
This engagement portrait session is what it’s all about. Hanging out, getting to know each other, being creative, and having some fun before the craze of the BIG day. I can’t wait to have these two in front of my lens on their wedding day. It’s going to be FAB!
Newly engaged? Let’s talk! I can’t wait to hear from you…….
