Laura & Erik Get Married in Downtown Acworth, Georgia | The Conservatory at Waterstone

Laura and Erik are just sweet and lovely in every way, and beyond cute together. I adored these two love birds from the moment I met them, and their wedding day was perfection. I met up with the ladies at a local hotel for all of the getting ready fun, and then headed to downtown Acworth, Georgia. Acworth is one of my favorite historic areas in Georgia. It’s a classic Georgia town with a railroad running through the middle of it. The historic charm has been completely preserved, and it’s a photographer’s dream with all of it’s old brick, kitchy wall art, and storefronts. Laura and Erik’s wedding venue, The Conservatory at Waterstone, was a gem. It’s tucked neatly in all of the storefronts, but once inside it opens up into a giant loft-like space. I really loved shooting at this one. Here is a little visual story of the day……..
This wedding photographer always looks for old brick, and old stucco. It’s hands-down my favorite facade to work with, and I just think it’s perfection. You can see why I really dig photographing anything in downtown Acworth.
Color heaven!!
This Atlanta photographer is up for any Acworth, Georgia shoot. It is just such an amazing little town, and The Conservatory at Waterstone is an absolute gem of a venue. If you are looking for unique venues north of Atlanta you should definitely have a look at Waterstone. It’s fab! And be sure to look for this lovely wedding on The Knot soon. They recently picked it up. Yay!
