Alissa & Michael’s Atlanta Engagement Session | Atlanta Wedding Photographer
People often ask, ‘What is your favorite thing to photograph’? Because I enjoy a lot of variety in my work it’s hard to answer that sometimes, but I think an engagement session is pretty fabulous. It’s my time to hang out with my couple, laugh with them, talk about wedding planning, and just life in general. I find that after I spend the day with my couple we are all like old buddies, and when the wedding day rolls around we really already have a relationship. The relationship that I develop with my wedding couples is soooooo important to me. I feel very invested in my clients so it’s important to me that we have a real friendship. It’s why so many of my wedding clients turn into newborn sessions, and family portrait sessions. Filling frames on someone’s walls over the course of many years is such an honor. For this Atlanta engagement session we went for a more industrial feel since we would be photographing the wedding weekend in Charleston SC for a beach destination wedding. The contrast was lovely. You can see that fabulous Charleston destination wedding on The Knot.com next week by the way….. 🙂
I adore animals so I dig it when a couple wants to bring their furry family member to a shoot. Engagement sessions are all about capturing the love of a couple, and if they both a little four-legged lover than I think they deserve a little camera time. Everything is better with an animal around anyway. 🙂
