This growing little family had just welcomed their beautiful little daughter, and wanted to capture this special time.  Many of my clients opt to do baby’s first portrait session when the little one is a bit older.  Of course as a portrait photographer I say ‘Let’s do BOTH’, but I’m a little biased I suppose.  😉  I met up with this sweet family for a portrait session at home.  It’s something that I do often when a family wants to keep things personal and more intimate, and especially when little children are involved.

As an Atlanta portrait photographer I have about a million locations up my sleeve, but sometimes it’s nice to just work in the home of my clients.  They are comfortable there.  It’s private, and it’s probably somewhere I’ve never been.  I actually like to show up blind, and find all the best spots in a small residential location.  The comfort of my portrait clients is probably the biggest asset of a home portrait session.  After all, that’s what great portrait work is all about!

If you are welcoming a new member in your family, or just planning a spring portrait session I’d love to be a part of it.  Nothing makes me happier than filling your frames!
