For this recent newborn session I headed up to northeast Georgia’s Clarkesville.  I always enjoy photographing weddings and portrait sessions in northeast Georgia as it’s stunning up there.  Also, I grew up in Tallulah Falls so perhaps I have a little of that mountain air in my DNA.  This beautiful new mother has been a marvelously substantial part of my life for 27 years so this session was of particular importance for me.

The biggest gift of being a newborn photographer is to be around the new and wonderful love.  There is nothing quite like it.

I feel so blessed to have had this wonderful woman in my life all of these years, and to watch her turn into a beautiful mother.  I’m already in love with this little guy, and have a feeling there will be many photo sessions to come.  🙂
