Brooke and Steve’s Glendalough Manor Wedding
Brooke and I grew up in the same small town in northeast Georgia so I was so honored when she came to me after getting engaged. Brooke is a fellow creative so I was so pleased to hear that she was a fan of my work. It’s always fantastic to collaborate with a creative client on the wedding day. She brought beautiful color to her wedding day with jewel and peacock tones through out. Being that is was a late fall wedding this was just about perfect. If you are planning a wedding or portrait session in late fall or the winter bring on the color! Pops of saturated color will make you stand out in the calm starkness of the season. I am always attracted to jewel tones, and I was full-on obsessed with the created printed bridesmaid dresses…..they are awesome! As always I began the wedding day with the lovely ladies at the salon to capture all the getting ready fun!
By the way, this is such a perfect capture of Brooke. She is absolutely effervescent. Such a fun gal.
Glendalough Manor is a fantastic wedding venue in Tyrone, Georgia. The grounds and the staff are fabulous, and the bridal suite is HUGE! Too often the getting ready or staging areas at wedding venues are so tiny. You spend a lot of time in that space on your wedding day so you don’t want to feel like you are trapped in a closet for hours. This space was amazing and full of natural light. Yes, please!
A bridal silhouette photo is ALWAYS on my mental list. It’s classic, it’s dramatic, it’s art, it’s fashion, it’s everything that I love.
Printed bridesmaids dresses! Yay!
Glendalough Manor in Tyrone, Georgia has a lovely garden complete with old world stone work, and a large center fountain.
I’m a fan of an unexpected surprise. Is the groom a massive Star Wars fan? Why NOT show up with some storm trouper helmets and light sabers I ask?? 😉
An outdoor ceremony at Glendalough Manor is really lovely. The fountains water falls mixing with the ceremony music. The natural light, and crisp air. We were so lucky to have a perfect November wedding day.
The reception space at Glendalough Manor is grand, and can very comfortably accommodate a big group. The space has a wonderful Old World feel to it, and the dance floor is perfect.
An elegant exit for these adorable love birds!
