Working with little children is just awesome! I am never one to try to force poses and locations. I just join in their fun, and that works for me. If I’m just another playmate it’s pretty easy for me to gently ‘direct’ without any little ones knowing what I’m up to. This way the portrait session is a fun play date, rather than some tantrum-inducing mess. I’ve always loved hanging out with little minds, and watching their wonderful imaginations come out. I think if you treat children like wonderful little people they will always present you with authentic and adorable portraiture. These four blond cuties are cousins, and they are beyond sweet together. I love this bright, cheery, colorful summer session!
