Dahlonega, Georgia Wedding Photographer | Georgia Vineyard Wedding
I’m always excited when I photograph a wedding in one of Dahlonega, Georgia’s beautiful vineyards. Dahlonega has turned into a massive destination for weddings, and if you’ve ever made the drive there you know why. Have a look at the sun setting over one of the sprawling vineyards, and you’ll feel the romance right away. Enjoy!
My first stop of the day was to meet up with the ladies at an adorable little day spa/salon in downtown Dahlonega, Georgia called Jolie. I hung out with the ladies, and captured them getting ready for the BIG day. After everyone was camera ready we set off for Blackstock Vineyards, one of Dahlonega’s many wineries. Blackstock Vineyards has recently closed it’s doors, but I’m grateful that I had a wedding there before it shut down as a wedding venue. It was such a lovely spot.
I absolutely love the pops of orange and purple out in the vineyard. It’s perfection.
You just cannot find a view like this in Atlanta/Decatur where I live. Being an Atlanta wedding photographer is a lucky thing. Georgia is one of those states that can give you the shore, the mountains, and the urban without getting on a plane. Is pretty unique. Of course Photo By Gannon REALLY loves to get on a plane. I have destination weddings from Newport RI to St. John USVI and everything in between in the next couple of months. Close to home, or in the islands I’m always ready. 🙂
The decor for the reception kept with the pops of orange and purple. Everything was about the rustic, natural environment. Wood, natural fabrics, and stone were the perfect accents for the outdoor vineyard reception in Dahlonega. The sunset was STUNNING, and mirrored the bride’s smart color choices.
