This summer wedding had it all as far as this Decatur wedding photographer is concerned.  The most adorable couple imaginable, a lot of love, gorgeous details, and happy people.  What else could a wedding photographer ask for?  There were so many great parts to this day.  I was happy that Occasions Magazine felt the same way.  CLICK HERE for the full story of this wedding in their online magazine.  The gorgeous bride got her dress at one of my favorite Decatur, Georgia bridal salons, Sweet Elegance.  The bride got ready at one of my favorite intown salons, Sego.  The people that work at both of these Decatur home-grown businesses just ROCK!  If you are planning a Decatur or Atlanta wedding you should check them out.  Tell them Annie of Photo By Gannon says howdy!  Speaking of that dress……

The bride’s father was the pastor of this fabulous Avondale Estates church.  Everyone was so nice here!!

Being a true creative photographer means being in a million places at once, on every wave length, every perspective.  I’ve been called a ninja a few times, and I like that!  🙂

I am always a big fan of a pop of bright color.  It makes a wedding come to life.

 

Back to details for a minute.  This groom’s cake was BEYOND amazing!  When the new Mr. and Mrs. drove off in the life-sized version of this jeep everyone had a big smile on their face.  This masterpiece is by one of my favorite groups of cake artists in the business.  The FABULOUS Highland Bakery.  They just so happened to create my own wedding cake as well.  This couple had a dessert reception.  Love that idea, by the way!
