Downtown Decatur is one of the coolest little neighborhoods in my humble opinion.  Perhaps I’m biased since it’s my main stomping ground, but whatever.  Decatur is a charming and hip cluster of shops, bars, and restaurants.  Everything surrounds the historic courthouse, which is a super cool wedding venue by the way.  It’s the perfect blend of the classic and the cool.  I was excited when this sweet(and expecting)couple got in touch with me about a winter elopement.  I have a special fondness for elopements and intimate events.  We had such a lovely day together.
