Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church | Trolley Barn Wedding | Decatur, Georgia Wedding Photographer
I started my day photographing this wedding in downtown Decatur, Georgia at Salon Marsof. There I met up with my bride and her bridesmaids to capture all of the getting ready fun.
When all the ladies were perfectly coiffed we headed to the home of the bride’s parents right outside of downtown Decatur to finish getting ready.
Once the ladies were dressed we headed to the gorgeous campus of Atlanta’s Emory University. Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church was our ceremony location, and it’s a landmark on Emory’s campus.
After a sweet afternoon ceremony at Glenn Memorial we all headed to nearby Inman Park’s Trolley Barn for a lively reception. The Trolley Barn is nestled in the middle of historic Inman Park, and it’s a perfect space for a reception. It’s unique history as home to Atlanta’s first electric trolley line makes for a fabulous evening under impossibly tall ceilings and charming architecture. If you are looking for an uncommon venue for your upcoming Atlanta wedding The Trolley Barn should definitely be on your list.
I have to say that the band for this reception was positively fantastic. Wasted Potential Brass Band brought a mix of New Orleans standards and contemporary pop that I’ve not seen before. I LOVED them, and they had the party buzzing with energy, and the dance floor elbow-to-elbow.
