Jen and Dan’s Classic Wedding at The Thompson House | Bogart, Georgia Wedding Photographer
Jen and Dan’s wedding day was just glorious. It was one of those perfect fall days with mild temperatures, and bluebird skies. After hanging out with Jen and the ladies we headed over to the oh-so-charming Thompson House in Bogart. It was my first time at this lovely little venue, and we had a fabulous shoot here.
A fall wedding in Georgia is all about finding some gorgeous color. You never have to look far. It’s usually right under your nose.
A fogged up mirror after the ladies steam the dresses? A happy photographer gets to play.
This handsome groom is a Firefighter, and I was excited when the ladder sent a truck over. Very cool prop indeed!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE playing with the little details of the day. It’s the best! To take an ordinary object, and give it beauty and life.
The Thompson House had so many lovely little areas to work with in a quaint amount of space. It is a gem tucked into Bogart, Georgia. Bogart is just 20 minutes outside of the heart of Athens, Georgia.
Full-on princess fab!
Not doing a ‘first look’? That’s great……let me put a little moment like this together for you! 🙂
Priceless ceremony moments!
It’s always a great idea to plan for a few minutes alone before you enter your reception. It gives you two a little breather before you transition to party time.
I dig when my couples use images from our engagement session on the big day. It’s so cool to see how people play with them. I think this Georgia-centric-Coca Cola set up is adorable.
Total fairy tale photo. I’ve always loved this capture. This Thompson House wedding was sweet, romantic, and classic, and I’m so incredibly happy to have been a part of it. Want to see this couple’s awesome firehouse engagement session? Have a peek HERE………
