Newborn and Family Photographer | Dahlonega, Georgia
I photographed this adorable couple’s wedding in Dahlonega, Georgia a few winters ago, and I was tickled PINK when they called me to photograph their new arrival. This little cutie is honestly like a living doll. I headed up to the Dahlonega area to work with them in their home. I find that’s best when working with a newborn. Newborn portraiture is more about this tiny and beautiful little person than finding a fabulous location. It’s up close and personal, and all about snuggles and hugs. 🙂
I particularly love this one. Here she sleeps, wrapped in the tartan sash that her paternal grandmother wore on the couple’s wedding day. I always ask my new parents to pull special objects for the shoot. I think something from their wedding is especially lovely for a new little girl. I know that when she grows up she’ll appreciate this sweet image. That makes me very, very happy. 🙂
