Newport RI Wedding Photographer | New York Yacht Club | Fort Adams | Atlanta Destination Wedding Photographer
I have been an Atlanta-based wedding photographer for just about 15 years now, and have loved every minute. I photograph weddings all over the southeast every year, and I get so excited when I’m in a new location. A new wedding venue really gets the creative juices flowing. Over the years I’ve been doing more and more destination weddings. Photographing destination weddings has become a real passion, and I’ve been lucky enough to work from coast to coast, and beyond. This Newport, Rhode Island destination wedding was stunning from start to finish. Newport is about as perfect a backdrop for romance as you can find. Between historic sites sitting on harbors full of rocking sailboats, and endless fresh food it’s a true destination! The wedding day began in the ultra-exclusive New York Yacht Club’s Harbour Court. This amazing club is classic and chic, and has an absolutely dazzling view of Newport harbor. The architecture and grounds of The NYYC can’t help but make one feel transported to a time when life was a little slower, and a little more luxe.
The bride brought a little southern style up from Atlanta for her Newport destination wedding. Love it!
The ladies jumped on a launch to cross the Newport harbor. Not a bad way to travel! They docked right in front of one of Newport’s historic jewels. The ceremony and reception took place at Fort Adams, which is a dream for a photographer!
LOVE these homemade lawn games at sunset!
This Newport destination wedding was such a gem. I was so thrilled to have been a part of it, and extra thrilled when it was featured by ‘Destination I Do’ Magazine. I’d love to jump on a plane, and be a part of your destination wedding from the planning all the way through my super speedy turn around. How does 7 days sound? 😉
