This wedding was fun, because I have a relationship with the family.  This bride was beautiful.  She had a classic beauty about her.  When I look at the portraits of her, they are so timeless.  She chose a romantic, feminine dress.  Along with her styling, her old school beauty was perfect.  I remember that she had gorgeous eyes, giant with real life coming out of them.

Her groom was handsome and had a “real guy’s guy” charm about him.  Both of their families were loving and present, and a good time was had by all.

The father of the bride, bottled home-made wine for a takeaway favor for the guests.  I love this detail.  It was very personal, and free wine is always functional and welcome.  This lovely gent also gave a perfect toast, that was really moving.  The bride’s sister also sang the happy couple a song during the reception.  She had a beautiful voice, despite the tears that pushed their way through.

This couple got married at the Olde Towne Athletic Club, right outside of Atlanta.  It was a nice venue to shoot in.  Lots of spots to choose from, in close proximity.  It is definitely something to think about when planning your event.  You don’t want to be running around a giant venue searching for a place to shoot.  Even though, I have to say, that no matter what the location I can always find the perfect spot.  It’s just a matter of being creative, and thinking on your feet.

This was a fun-loving couple, and it was such an easy pleasure to at their event.
