I’m so happy to get back to some blogging!  I’m SO terribly behind.  I always say ‘Brides before Blogs’.  I’d rather put my blogging on the back burner to turn my weddings around in ONE week, and my portrait sessions in a few days.  It’s all about going the extra mile for my awesome clients.  I’ll be catching up a lot over the next couple of months so be sure to check back soon.  🙂

This is a pregnancy portrait session that was particularly dear to me.  I photographed this fabulous couple on their wedding day, and to have them back in front of my lens to celebrate the birth of their first child was a fabulous thing for sure.  Watching a family grow in front of my lens is actually one of my favorite parts of this work.

How gorgeous is this mother-to-be?

All of my portrait work is done on location.  It’s always fun trying to find new locations for my clients.  This session was done right at the client’s home. I do a lot of my pregnancy/maternity portrait sessions in the homes of my clients.  It lends itself to an intimate shoot, and speaks to the beautiful ‘nesting’ that’s already happening for my sweet clients.

I completely love this photo.  What could be cuter for a professional baseball player that is expecting his first little girl?  Love.

Being a location portrait photographer in Atlanta means that I literally drive all over Georgia to meet up with clients, and make some magic.  It’s nice to be somewhere new every day.  This laid-back home session was a blast.  It was so nice to be able to catch up with this awesome couple in a relaxed setting.

LOVE these little shoes.  Too sweet.

Cheers to this beautiful couple, and their new addition to the family.  I look forward to the next time the THREE of them are in front of Photo By Gannon’s lens for a family portrait session.  I think I’ll finish this post with one of my favorite wedding photos ever.  It happens to be from this cute couple’s wedding at Primrose Cottage in Roswell, Georgia.

Photo By Gannon wants to make YOU a client for life.  Check me out on Facebook!  🙂
