This sweet couple wanted to go back to the bride-to-be’s roots for this engagement session.  Growing up she spent lots of time in the beautiful valley of Sautee-Nacoochee, so that’s just where we began.  If you’ve ever been to Helen, Georgia(an oddball alpine village) you have probably driven through or near Sautee Nacoochee.  If you blink you might miss it, but it would be a shame.  The valley is home to a native burial ground that sits in a sprawling pasture, with the blue hills behind it.  It’s such a beautiful spot.  You can also find some very charming establishments in Sautee-Nacoochee, including the ‘Old Sautee Store’, a general store.  You can grab a cup of coffee at local favorite Sweetwater Coffee House, or eat at Bernie’s Guest House.  If you should find yourself in White County have a look.  I scouted out a few special spots in the area, and we had a great morning of portraits and getting to know each other…
