Sarah & Jason’s Wedding with Dinosaur and Zombie Awesomeness! | The Ruins of Kellum Valley Farm
Sarah and Jason’s wedding was…..well awesome! What I love most about contemporary weddings is that people are becoming more and more likely to really make the day their own. I love to see couples have FUN at their wedding. Sarah and Jason did this to the fullest. I’m slightly obsessed with the whimsy and sense of humor that they brought to their big day. I think it’s why The Knot was digging the wedding too(click HERE to see the piece)! With wedding details that include dinosaurs, zombies, and candy galore how could you know have a blast? 😉
You know what else was beyond fabulous about this wedding? It was at one of my all-time favorite locations, The Ruins at Kellum Valley Farm. Kellum Valley Farm is not a new venue to my blog. I’m lucky enough to shoot weddings there a few times a year, and I LOVE IT! It’s unique, and a real destination up in the mountains of Cleveland, Georgia. And don’t get me started on the sweet and lovely staff. Awesome!
Both the groomsmen and bridesmaids were decked out perfectly for a farm wedding in Georgia in JULY. I can’t tell you how much I love the guys sans jacket, rocking some sneaks. It is a wonderful example that you don’t need a super formal three-piece suit to look positively dapper.
While only a two hour drive from downtown Atlanta, Kellum Valley Farm feels like a true destination wedding to the guests. Tucked neatly in the mountains of northeast Georgia, the crisp air, and pastoral setting really transports people. I see it happen every time I shoot a wedding there.
Cheers to this fun-loving, completely awesome couple. I’m a lucky gal, because I get to see them next month for a MATERNITY session. 🙂
