I met up with this awesome couple for their engagement photos at a lovely covered bridge near Smyrna, Georgia. This was my first time at the Concord Covered Bridge, and it really is a gorgeous spot. There really is no parking to speak of so it’s got some challenges, but we managed to make it work. There is just something terribly romantic about a covered bridge, no? Perhaps ‘Bridges of Madison County’ is to blame? 😉 This couple was game for going off road, and that always makes me a happy photographer. I love a bride-to-be that has no problem scaling a wall in heels. That’s my kind of gal! After we finished up at the bridge, and the surrounding area we went by the couple’s home to get their two four-legged family members. With our two adorable pets we headed to Smyrna Village to get a different look. I always like to do a couple of contrasting locations when I photograph a portrait session. I just think it adds depth to the session, and it’s a great excuse for a wardrobe change. I’m all about options!
Did you or someone you know get a ring over the holiday season?? If so, I’d love to hear from you. I’d be thrilled to be a part of your BIG DAY! 🙂
